Akatsuki Mishiro from the Shuraki series. She’s the first Shuraki released by Good Smile Company. For you that unfamiliar with Shuraki series: the series is original series, without anime / manga behind it, released as figurine, together with a drama cd and an artwork booklet (which explains the name Shuraki Trinity). The drama CD seiyuu for Akatsuki Mishiro is Koshimizu Ami

Nice quality as expected from GSC, nothing much I can say

Below pictures are her wearing her normal dress, not much difference with her damaged dress.

Overall, she’s a nice figurine. I didn’t intend to purchase her initially.. but then I bought her for completing shuraki ^^. She’s the cheapest shuraki figurine compared to all 5 Shurakis released, and come with 2 drama CDs instead of 1.

Hee, I love the mismatched sock/stockings on that figure. Very nice shots, by the way, as usual clean and crisp against the background. There weren’t many dust specks left on the photos so don’t worry about the clone job, you did well!

You may want to check if it’s your lens or if you use a DSLR if it’s dust on your sensor. If you have a Canon Rebel XTi you’ll not face that problem, but you never know on other models.

Heheh, so you got her just to complete the series eh? Kind of a pain (on the wallet) when you feel compelled to complete a series by getting a character you don’t really like, and I seem to get stuck with that more often than not xD But at least with the Shuraki series, all the figures were nicely made so it still isn’t to bad =)

I actually quite like the damaged skirt now from the angle in your 2nd pic though the red on her skirt could use a little less gloss for the paint I feel. Looking forward to the next shoot!

You have a complete Shuraki Cast? Youre one lucky Guy!
Like so many other fellow Otaku i couldnt get my Hands on Char Rhousemann.

My favorite out of the whole bunch ist Nida Rawr!

Have you done some Plastic Surgery with Photoshop etc.? Her eyes look so brown in your pictures.Im normally no guy for Red Eyes but they are in this case my favorite Detail

I always wanted figures from this series.
Sadly I can’t get one due to the price here. So expensive.
I plan of getting them in Japan hopefully…

@blowfish: I used photoshop for change contrast and fixing the color balance for some images, and also to remove dust using clone tools. the red in her red eyes is not bright red, so yeah with the lighting i used it made her red eyes kinda reddish brown =\

@rin: to create white background, you need to put lights just for the background, in this photo session i used 2 very bright (6500K 24 watt) white lamp just for the bg.

I had problems undressing her, especially with her left arm, I was afraid I would break her or remove paint, thankfully nothing happened. I find all the Shurakis great but this one for me is one of the best, still hoping to get Nida if my wallet and my conscious say yes.
