Shuraki 03 ~ Char Rhousemann
I played around with my camera settings, changed some settings, and took this picture, the result is quite decent
Bigger version of image (a lot better than the small thumbnail), wallpaper sized (all PNG):
1920×1200 :: 1920×1080 :: 1280×720
Another picture that I took

Etna sama!
Any improvement in term of sharpness compared to my older pictures? I’m going to use this setting for my next photo shoot
Camera Info
Nikon D40, Sigma 150mm F2.8 Macro HSM Lens

Have you ever tried using Picture Style setting?
As far as i know, in Canon DSLR, there is a Picture Style setting. You can adjust the shaprness, brightness, contrast, or use a pre-defined setting.
Anyway, how do you improve the sharpness?

Nice pics!!!!! I want those figures!!! Sometimes it better to leave your camera setttings alones. It screws up if I mess with the settings too much…

Nice shots! The lighting reminds me of those studio family pictures, with nice soft light and vivid color! (especially the Etna shot). Wow this really makes me want to get a DSLR!!

@sonic_ver: of course I tried the style settings
for improving sharpness, I add more light to the figurine, and also remove the camera reduce noise setting
@radiant: also get a macro lens~

Definitely a huge improvement from your earlier pictures. The outlines looks a lot sharper compared to before, where everyone had a somewhat blurred or faded outline.
