Are you an Australian manga-ka? Have you heard OzTAKU? if you are a manga-ka and never heard OzTAKU that means I have a good news for you ^^
Last week at the Japanese Festival, I Spotted a rather interesting stall, named OzTAKU. OzTAKU is a magazine devoted to Australian Manga-ka.

So far they have published three issues, which is priced around A$13 each. It contains collection of mangas made by Australian (similar like jump).

If you are interested, and want to submit your work (either manga or fanart), please visit their website.
ps: The top most image (hanako-chan) is my own drawing and coloring, I made her earlier today at work (bored :p) I use GimpShop application (photoshop-like open source free aplication, good enough ^^)

Ah~
the opened book you’re holding is from my friend’s manga, goes by the handle Cyraxis.
I tried to mingle with the community a few years back but had a bad experience on the IRC channel it had, so I tend to stay well, well away from most of them =/

It reminds me to some games/anime magazines in Indonesia back then. Was it 3D? or perhaps it was Ultima?

I was on the OzTaku IRC channel, there was an unpleasant person there who wasn’t exactly the friendly type. I let that one person put me off OzTaku.
I decided I rather not get close with the western world’s manga artists anymore. Perhaps I should review my stance and be a lil less closed off about it ^^;

yah, you should try give them chance.
IMO they should rename to OzManga instead of Oztaku, they don’t cover anything except manga
