Sakura Hime from Tsubasa Chronicle. I used Photoshop CS3 with Wacom Intuos 3 Graphic Tablet for coloring. Took me 6 hours to finish everything 
Actually, this one is not my first coloring, but I think this is the first one that’s decent enough to show to others ^^;
I didn’t draw the picture, got it from animenation forums, drawn by Satsumaru. Here is the line art source of the above image.
Colored the character only, and then added background image for the background.
I still need to learn more, so expect to see more art work in this blog

You definitely have coloring down pat, with the first try even. I suggest you work on line work but that is only if you want to go pro or something.

Nice work there! I remember taking 6 hours as well for my first color work and it’s shite compared to yours ^^;

@sin: since 3 days ago (saturday)
but long time ago (like 6-7 years ago) I learned a little bit of coloring as well (but the results were very2 bad at that time)
