Tears to Tiara (ティアーズ・トゥ・ティアラ) originally a PC game, received a total remake for PS3 console. This game will be released in Japan on 17 July 2008. The regular version will be 6800 yen, and the limited edition version will be 8800 yen. The limited edition will come with an artbook and original soundtrack album CD. And I’m sure this game won’t be released in US ^^;

This game is an echi SRPG game, similar like Agarest Senki. I assume this game won’t have any hentai, since normally no hentai game in console ^^;
The character and the CG art of this game are designed by To Heart2 character designer, Mr Genga (原画).
The opening anime is made by Studio 4°C. Images below are the screen caps from the opening.
I didn’t play the PC game so I don’t know exactly how they done the battle system but as far as I know the game is still using turn based battle system :). Update: Based on the video that just released this game battle system seems to be similar with Final Fantasy Tactic / disgaea games, but full 3D with nice character 3D models

So what do you think about the voice actors? great right? bigger cast than the just released Senjou no Valkyria (Inoue Marina, Kuwashima Houko, Noto Mamiko, Toyoguchi Megumi and Fukuyama Jun).
I was a litle bit surprised when I read Gotouza-sama is voicing the main heroine :O
Can’t wait for this game~ still not sure which one should I get, normal version or limited edition version

ps: Yesterday my server hosting went bankrupt and decided to close down.. lucky I did full backup 3 hours before they shut down for good.. Now, I’m using a new server, and everything should work like normal (phew, take a while to restore 500mb data). Lesson learned: Get hosting server that has been around for more than 3 years~

The battle graphics look pretty cool and the characters are quite good-looking. I’m referring to the female characters of course! XD

Sh!t, should I start playing games or what. >_> In Senjou no Valkyria you got my Hou-chan & Marina, and now triple combo Maitan + RieRie + Nazuka… a bit more push (*cough*Nana-chan*cough*) and I might be taking over your PS3 soon, lol.

This is one of the reasons why I might actually consider getting a PS3 (not anytime soon though ^^;) since I’m still waiting to see how the N/A lineup for games will turn out. I’d probably choose the PC version over this though since I don’t have a PS3 -_- But too many games on my plate now, no more!! No more please~~~~!! ^^;

WOW!!! That is one game I would get for my PS3!!! Too bad it takes forever for games released in Japan to be released here in Canada. I’ll still buy the Japanese version to play. I’ve play a ton of Japanese games in my life. I love how the characters look. Want to play!!!

Totally different from the PC version!
I remember playing the PC version and totally not understanding what the characters were talking about and just did random clicking here and there hoping something will happen ^^;

Wow, i really like the art style for this game! Actually, I prefer it more then Agarest. The 3d aspects of it look very well done. I just wish I knew Japanese…
