Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid 01 made by Good Smile Company. This figurine is pretty I missed the original September 2008 release, the preorder closed way too fast, lucky they did re-release just 1 month after that…

The detail of this figurine is pretty; but I have two complaints tho.. first is her shirt is too dark, and second her skin needs more paint layers (it’s a lil bit flat, no not DFC flat, but paint flat!).

Rita, from Magical Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS made by Alter. There are two version of this figurine, this red one, and the white unison version, I only bought the red one, since I don’t like her white version

As expected from Alter, the quality for this figurine is just amazing, everything are perfect. Her shiny red metal boots are also well done.

The details are just amazing, her ribbon is nicely done too

This version comes with two weapon (the big hammer and the small hammer), I only took pictures of her with the big hammer tho, since I’ve already put her box somewhere deep between other boxes.. her big hammer is a lot better anyway

Writing on her base, this time the capitalization seems correct, not like the one on Reinforce Zwei ^^

Can’t wait for the other Nanoha series figurine from Alter, next one should be Signum and then Hayate! Good job Alter!

Hoshii Miki from Idolm@ster series (XBox360 game). She’s quite big for 1/8 scale. There are two version of this figurine, this one (blonde version) and the brown short hair version.

This one has nice quality, the details they put in her clothes is amazing… just look at those glitters.. but I don’t like the paint job on her belt tho.. it looks kinda fake….

This version comes with cat ear and cat gloves, and the short hair version comes with drill (… wanted to get the short hair before, but why drill? ><)

So many figurines from this wonfesu, better wonfesu compared to last year for sure (worse limited edition item tho, but that’s okay heh)

And another thing, based from the blog stats, last month (July) for the second time I got another 50k visitors in a month, and new record of 9k visitor in 1 day in the 29th of July (thanks to kotaku for linking my Soul Calibur 4 Omake translation). Even tho I still hasn’t reach my 10k yet, but it’s still worth mention, because it’s over 9000!

Ryu Meifeng from the Shuraki series. She’s the second Shuraki released by Good Smile Company (see the first Shuraki here). Her voice in the drama cd is voiced by Iizuka Mayumi.

She’s currently my favorite Shuraki from five Shurakis released so far love her expression and her pose, and she has very nice custom base too

very good quality, but if you see carefully, I got very tiny black dot on her left (raising) arm, but it’s still ok ^^;

She’s castoff-able as well, like the rest of the Shurakis. Undressing her is quite easy BUT putting back the clothes is HARD, hardest ever, especially putting back the white ribbons….. (which means she loves being undressed, and doesn’t want to me to put her clothes back hahaha)

Now with her normal clothes (after 15 minutes of putting all back -_-). She has the best normal clothes compared to other Shurakis

Overall, she’s very nice figurine, good pose, good expression, good quality, can’t ask for more (can ask for less maybe.. less price! ><). Another thing is that if only her raising arm can be changed to \m/, I’m sure she’ll be as moe as Ranka-chan

Photography Note

My camera is still dirty.. but I find that the dust is not visible if I set my f/stop not lower than f/8. Normally I use f/16 to get most of part focused.. so in this shots all shots were limited to f/8, thus explains the blur on some pictures ^^;

And also, this one photoset has the least photo editing compared to my other white BGs photos, no auto levels, no change on min/max levels, no change on contrast, luminousity or saturation, I just changed the median level from 1 to 0.9, because she’s quite pale (well the actual figurine is pale ^^;)

Akatsuki Mishiro from the Shuraki series. She’s the first Shuraki released by Good Smile Company. For you that unfamiliar with Shuraki series: the series is original series, without anime / manga behind it, released as figurine, together with a drama cd and an artwork booklet (which explains the name Shuraki Trinity). The drama CD seiyuu for Akatsuki Mishiro is Koshimizu Ami

Overall, she’s a nice figurine. I didn’t intend to purchase her initially.. but then I bought her for completing shuraki ^^. She’s the cheapest shuraki figurine compared to all 5 Shurakis released, and come with 2 drama CDs instead of 1.

Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, made by Enterbrain. This one is the younger Yoko version (approx 14 years old they say.. but no 14 years old have this kind of body O_O). This figurine is 1/7 scale, but actually she’s closer to 1/6, her height is 27cm (10.63″) from hair to feet, or 34cm (13.38″) from the tip of the sniper to her feet, she is HUGE!

I didn’t expect that this figurine will be this good, since I don’t really trust Enterbrain quality, but I’m happy that she’s done beautifully.

This is the first time I put more than 30 images for 1 figurine, so enjoy

The sculpt of this figurine is top notch, really good, sexy, and the most important part is that she still looks exactly the same as the anime version.

The paintwork is allright, not perfect but acceptable (barely!), except her hair. Her hair is too plain, can use several more shade layers, and use non glossy paint.

another thing to complain is her yellow hair sticks. They should be stiff and non bendable, the sticks in this figurine look like a yellow ribbon instead..

Reinforce Zwei (or Reinforce 2) from Nanoha Strikers, made by Alter. This figurine is cute, cuter than the anime version and I think the scale is around 1/1.5 (for you who doesn’t know her: She’s small!).

Figurine quality is top notch, as expected from Alter. Sculpt and paint are almost perfect

The flying book is attached to her hair, glued.

Her zettai ryouiki reminds me of moetan zettai ryouiki, one up and one down

Only complain that I have for this figurine is the writing on her white base, as you can see here the capital letters are totally random ^^;

Overall, this figurine is very good

Can’t wait for Alter’s Vita and Hayate!

I’ve Been waiting these nendos for ages, the scheduled release was around Dec, but then get pushed back to March and then April…. pre-ordered on September last year, and just got them 3 days ago.

Nendoroid Lucky Star, Izumi Konata and Hiragii Kagami, made by Good Smile Company. These 2 Nendoroids are the Chara Ani exclusive version, which is sadly only available in Japan….. I got these nendos all thanks to hectic3

Quality of these nendoroids is decent, the paint job on the heads is good, but the paints on the uniforms aren’t that good.. and also my Konata breaks easily, her lower part is quite loose >_<

Konata

She comes with plenty of parts, 3 faces, 2.5 pairs of hands (5 hands..), 2 pairs of legs, shopping bag, sitting lower body part and also a chair.

I see pantsu!~

I like her first face, but I don’t like the other faces especially the last one, she looks fat with that face >_<

Kagami

Her sets are similar like konata, 3 faces, 3 pairs of hands, 2 pairs of legs, siting lower body part and also a chair.

moe~

I like Kagami nendoroid more than Konata. Better build quality, and a lot more cuter!~ (well, I’m biased since Kagami is my favorite character haha)

Now I can create my own version of Fate/Stay Night Konata and Kagami Since I can’t get the Wonfes FSN Lucky Star Nendos :p

oh and almost forgot, Konata comes with prototype version of nendo petite Akira, and Kagami comes with Minoru. Both are unpainted.
