April Melbourne Anime Con: Animania and Minifest

Animania will be held on the 28th of April 2007, so it’s next month. You can pre-register ticket online untill 6th of April from here, the ticket price is $15 when you buy at pre-registration, or $25 when you buy at door. more info can be found in animania.net.au.
Location: Rydges Hotel, Melbourne

Opening hours for the festival will now be from 10am - 4pm.

Minifest is the mini version of Manifest, while Manifest is still long (September), Minifest is just 3 weeks away. Minifest will be held on the 7th of April 2007. Ticket price is $5. more information can be found in the manifest website.
Location: Old Arts Building, University of Melbourne, Melboure, Victoria

I’ll be going to Manifest I guess, but I can’t really enjoy it as much as I used to after visiting the Japanese conventions…

Not sure if I’ll be going to Animania.

I attended last year’s Mini-Animania Melbourne and I must say, for the first one, it was actually quite successful. Not sure if I’ll be heading down again to help with the AnimeSydney table but I’ll see what happens.
