Another attempt of Char Rhousemann

After checking Shuraki 03 photos, I decided to take another picture of her, just one picture tho, but using different photo settings.

Here is the new result (after many many tries..):

This one is the old one:

Which one is better?

I find that the old one is too pale, the colors are a bit off ^^;

You’re right, the new one is better.

The old one seems to have a blue shift to it, the white balance could of been off?
You could fix it up in photoshop to an extent, but it’s my opinion to try to get it right at the camera rather than post processing.

MUCH better white balance!!

actually the difference is not just white balance.

the new one has different lights, white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and f/stop ^^

I like the first one.

the new one really does looks much better

I think the old one’s WB was off and the lighting was too strong that it sort of “bled” onto the outer areas of the figure, which is why the lighting seems too harsh (for me anyway) and she looks a bit pale.

The new one has more vivid colors you can see that especially on her orange boots.

I really need to get some lamps and some color paper to create my own sets, I’m thinking one day printing my best outside shots and future sets to make a small photography book to show at future conventions that I may attend.

Haaaa~ much better indeed ^^

The original one has a slight blue tint to it, I’m guessing you are using some sort of fluorescent light for your lighting? Most ways to fix that is white balance, or in the post processing stage where you apply filters.

The new one looks better, not as much glare as the older one on the base. The new one also doesn’t have the blue glow to it, which also makes it better.

The latter has a higher contrast which makes her look even more vibrant! NICE JOB!!!

the first one is quite nice! I don’t know how to mess with my camera properties correctly :(
And I don’t have a good lighting setup or anything…guess I need to play around with it some more…
