This is my first dakimakura (literally means hugging pillow ^^), Yoko dakimakura <3. This dakimakura was made by Cospa. She arrived 3 weeks ago, but didn’t have the chance to take picture of here ^_^.
The quality of this dakimakura exceeds my expectation :O The image is sharp, the color is bright and also the sheet is very smooth (not silky smooth, but more like linen smooth) eventho it’s made from 100% polyester.
The pictures are very lovely, such a tease ^_~

The zipper is well hidden, it’s on the bottom of the dakimakura
She is not easily wrinkled also:

That bedsheet is Izumi (he is my master) bedsheet
Dakimakura size is 150cm x 50cm, she’s almost as tall as detolf ^_^

Overall I’m happy with this one, I will buy some more in the future ^_^. Lucky that my local store (K-Mart) sells the body pillow (the filling) for A$47 (around 4500 yen), so I don’t need to import it from Japan (5000 yen excluding shipping)

Ah, another person who has leveled up his otakuism. My Feena dakimakura doesn’t have a zipper on the bottom, plus it’s more silky than anything else so it slides off the pillow often. But still, silky feeling is nice if you know what I mean

I’m in Australia, as far as I know (can be wrong tho). there’s no BB&B in here.. and even if we do have, the price will be different (for example, Detolf Ikea in US is $60 and in here is A$179 ~ US$150)..
Like head pillow I’m sure there’s a lot of body pillow prices, with different quality. The pillow that I bought is very soft and thick (and heavy), it has very nice quality, a lot nicer than my head pillow (A$30 pillow).
So I don’t feel I got ripped ^^

The white part get dirty quite often. especially at the corners and rims. Washing is needed every often.

hand wash is more dangerous imo. It wont get it clean and friction washing is bad while machine washing use water friction. Flip it inside out and dry it in a cool dry place. I haven’t seen my color fades after 5 -6 wash now. xD Aren’t you thinking of not washing it at all?

Not recommended as I have no idea the heat will have any effect. Spin dry would be the best. No ironing that what it states at the tag.

i have a feena pillow from G’s Festival. and yes it really is brilliant at night. and i don’t mean THAT way. ROFL. i also have the Uesugi Kenshin one from early 2008. if look for it in ebay it’s worth $150!! insane considering i got it for 30 bux before it shot up. i’d be very interested in hearing back from seeing as i live in Australia aswell. Brisbane to be precise. so yeah if you could drop me a line at undertaker_105 at hotmail dot com i’d greatly appreciate it. talking to someone who also likes dakimakura’s would be cool. i’m also trying to find inflatable ones.
