Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid 01 made by Good Smile Company. This figurine is pretty 
I missed the original September 2008 release, the preorder closed way too fast, lucky they did re-release just 1 month after that…
The detail of this figurine is pretty; but I have two complaints tho.. first is her shirt is too dark, and second her skin needs more paint layers (it’s a lil bit flat, no not DFC flat, but paint flat!).

Her base got her name printed
Now, I hope I can get my hand on Volks Hatsune Miku, saw the prototype when I went to Japan, which is a lot bigger compare to this one.
A must get figurine for any figurine collector if you still haven’t bought her, you can buy her from HLJ and play-asia, both still have her in stock

Gratz on her finally arriving =D If the Volks version is much bigger, wouldn’t it be quite a space killer? ^^; The twintails on GSC’s gives me a fair amount of grief as it is width-wise, thankfully the shade of green for Miku is really nice so it’s alright in the end ^^b

I agree with you that the skin colour is flat. It needs a few layer more of shading at areas like the armpit and so on. But despite this, it’s still a great figure!

@shino: yah the volks version is 1/6, definitely bigger than this gsc version. too bad it’s volks online store exclusive.. may need to hunt it down when I go to Japan next year =\

Hmm… she’s definitely pretty, but too bad Miku isn’t really my favorite. But i can see her clothes is realy nice and shiny, especially with the pattern detail on her shirt, stockings, and glove. Her skin is somewhat too pale…

Passed on the cute Hatsune Miku, perhaps not really my type of figure but it sure is cute ^_^. It seems like Miku takes a lot of place in terms of with which could pose a problem

Most times I’m not fond of shiny figures, but it suits Miku a lot. I also missed out on ordering her the first round, but I also forgot about ordering for the second round. Good thing HLJ still have her in stock.

I was told that this figure is kinda small even for a 1/8, is that true?
Really nice shots though! After comparing with the original art, I can see how the shirt is indeed darker than it should.
