Good photoshop attempts! I always love checking out other people’s photoshop work.

The problem with the first one is that the lighting is off. The sun’s shining angle vs the camera exposure makes the scene look dark, however, your figure stands out too much. You need to darken her.

Pic 2 looks the best. But she’s too far off to the right. Move her to the left a bit to fit in with the rule of thirds and you’re golden.

The third picture looks well lit and composited. But she looks waaaay too small to make the composition look convincing or real.

The last one looks too blurry and blasted out. Tone it down slightly first, and then tweak the shadows a bit to better match the background. She looks too close and positioned incorrectly. Follow the rule of thirds to make it more attractive.

I like #2 the best. It’s worth to be wallpaper.

I dont understand why #1 is so dark when it’s in broad daylight.

I have no patience to do a photo manipulation. The second one actually has the most potential to be a good one if you put a little more work into balancing the shadows and the composition. I hope you had fun with it. I know some people really enjoy doing manipulations.

@ shinohai: I agree with you, 3rd pic is the worst, well that one is actually the last one I made, and the fastest one ^^;

@ valho: personally I like the second more, but the 1st and the 2nd are both ok compared to others

@ aya: yah, hardest part is to redraw the shadow. Agree with you for last pic :p

@ adun: I consider that 3 hours isn’t that long, because there were 4 images to work with :p

@ burberry: yah, that’s true.

@ david: glad you like the second one, that one also took almost an hour to complete, because it’s not just cut and paste ^^;

@ aka_ugly: thanks, actually cutting the image only need not more than 15 minutes, the hardest part is to blend the figurine into the picture and altering the bg :p

I admire anyone who takes the time to learn photoshop. I wouldn’t have the patience or know how to do anything close to the quality of these pics. I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it. Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Photomanipulation is a fun thing to do^^ Imitating shadow is a hard thing to do. The second one looks the most realistic. Good job =)

About her sexy back, in Germany, there’s a saying: “Ein schoener Ruecken kann auch entzuecken”^^ Roughly translated: “A nice back can delight as well”, hahaha^^; in english it doesn’t rhyme, so it’s not that cool^^

I like the first one but the rest seem a little unnatural to me. But then if you’re not really used to doing such things, you just need more practice. Though 3 hours, I don’t think I have the patience to sit through and try that, lol. Good job anyway.
