Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, made by Enterbrain. This one is the younger Yoko version (approx 14 years old they say.. but no 14 years old have this kind of body O_O). This figurine is 1/7 scale, but actually she’s closer to 1/6, her height is 27cm (10.63″) from hair to feet, or 34cm (13.38″) from the tip of the sniper to her feet, she is HUGE!
I didn’t expect that this figurine will be this good, since I don’t really trust Enterbrain quality, but I’m happy that she’s done beautifully. 
This is the first time I put more than 30 images for 1 figurine, so enjoy 
The sculpt of this figurine is top notch, really good, sexy, and the most important part is that she still looks exactly the same as the anime version.
The paintwork is allright, not perfect but acceptable (barely!), except her hair. Her hair is too plain, can use several more shade layers, and use non glossy paint.
another thing to complain is her yellow hair sticks. They should be stiff and non bendable, the sticks in this figurine look like a yellow ribbon instead..

Her thighhigh is perfectly done, and perfect zettai ryouiki too
The paint work in her left side is not as good as the other parts, you can still barely see the seamlines.

This figurine has become one of my Favorite figurine now (a little bit biased tho, since I like yoko hehehe..), Not sure if the version made by Sol International Yoko can beat this yoko

i’m still waiting for mine from kidnemo, they take longer to get their figures in compared to everyone else. i’m super excited now about getting mine from this post, she looks so great and looks at least better than the Konami Version…

Thankfully only watched the first four eps of the anime so I’m spared from her clutches. Being exposed to 14 yr olds built like this for an extended period of time might prove to be too damaging for someone old at heart like me ^^;
But excellent sculpt indeed, the boots are really something for this figure. I quite like the metal studs on the belt too. For her size, the price would seem reasonable, though yeah the paint job is barely acceptable as you said. Strangely, I kind of like the gun’s strap ^^; Does the gun come separate from the figure or is it pre-attached?

don’t let eps 4 make you drop this anime. eps 4 was directed by guest art director that got complained from 2chan and pushed the co founder of gainax to resign (eps 4 art is bad @_@).
forgot to mention about her sniper, it is detachable.

I might plan on getting her. It seems nice. I do agree, her hair is a bit plain and not very detailed. Still, the quality I say is pretty good. Going to look for it now…

Yep. the Bandai’s version. According to Rightstuf.com catalogue, the first volume containing the first 9 eps. will be out on 8/07/08. I heard they are releasing the sub version first due to popular demand and then after when they finish releasing the sub version, they will release a dub later on. I might wait for the dub including sub to come out in this case.

Enterbrain figures tend to be good quality from the ones I’ve seen in my friend’s collection. I might pick this up in Japan since I didn’t order it.

@len-vesper: yeah, the only post-processing for the photos are auto contrast (no auto level! it will destroy the image D:) , the white backgrounds are white already, I made crappy tutorial last year on how to do white bg photos (crappy tutorial tho hehe)

Ron did you put her sniper in by force? Because I am afraid of bending her fingers to the point of them snapping, I left the gun out of her hands. One of the bipods broke off anyway, was loose and I somehow helped it without knowing heh.

Dude, I can’t get my gun to split into 3 parts!
Everytime I try to pull them apart it feels like they are about to snap… :’(
Got any pics of them in their 3 piece state so that I can see it for myself?

I had the exact same problem problem trying to separate the gun parts. I was able to get the barrel off by pulling on both ends of the gun with all my might. I could see on the peg that there was residue of either glue or paint that was holding it in. I wasn’t so lucky with removing the stock, it snapped right off after I put it in a machine shop vice and pulled as hard as I could. Ended up having to super glue it and the strap on after I slid the gun into her hands. Looks ok, but I guess I’ll never be able to put her back into the original packing without breaking the stock back off.
